BREDWAY
Producer and songwriter born and raised in North Jersey, Bredway’s musical journey was shaped early on by influences from gospel, jazz, old-school R&B, soul, and funk. His passion for music ignited in college when a dorm mate introduced him to beat-making on FL Studio. Inspired to develop his own unique sound, Bredway gradually shifted his focus from playing football to producing music. This newfound drive ultimately led him to leave the football team, lose his scholarship, and eventually drop out of school.
Returning home was a setback, but it allowed him to connect with like-minded creatives as part of the music trio “Nu Age Hippiez.” Their single “Dreamers” gained traction online, capturing the attention of an old friend, Great John. Though they’d known each other since childhood, this shared musical journey brought them closer, forming a bond as they crafted their signature sound together.
With a growing resume of placements and personal projects, Bredway eventually moved to Atlanta with fellow producer Greeny Wildstar, followed by three years in Los Angeles to further hone his skills as a producer and songwriter. Now back in the NJ/NY area, Bredway has reunited with “The Greats,” ready to pursue greatness alongside the team.
